Paint Program to Help Residents
The City of West Peoria has established a Paint Program to help residential property owners pay for their exterior painting projects. The program's guidelines are as follows:
- Partial reimbursement will be provided for painting only the exterior of homes or accessory structures (sheds, storage units, or garages).
- Participants will receive a 50% reimbursement of total costs up to a maximum of $250 if the paint (exterior only) is purchased from either of two West Peoria businesses: Ace Hardware at 2504 W. Rohmann Avenue or Farmington Road Hardware at 2600 W. Farmington Road.
- If the paint is not purchased in West Peoria, only 30% of the cost will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $250.
- Paint costs will be reimbursed when a project is completed and receipts are submitted to the city.
This Paint Program is just one of the many ways that West Peoria strives to maintain the city's reputation as an attractive place to live.
