John Carlson, City Administrator: The duties and responsibilities of the City Administrator include acting as Assistant to the Mayor, Budget Officer, Chief Administrative Officer of the City, and overseer of the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals.  The City Administrator manages all personnel-related issues at City Hall as well as all directives, policies, practices, and procedures established by the City Council. Gene Pratt, Planning and Community Development Coordinator: The goal of the Planning and Development Office is to foster economic growth and an improved quality of life in West Peoria by encouraging the creation and attraction of new businesses, the retention and expansion of existing businesses, new job creation and a more diversified tax base.  The Planning and Community Development Coordinator works closely with the Plan Commission, the Land Use Committee, and the Zoning Officer on future development throughout the City. Dan Sullivan, Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer The city of West Peoria has a part-time Code Enforcement and Zoning Officer and a temporary Code Enforcement Officer.  The role of the code enforcement officer is to work with the members of the community to keep West Peoria clean and safe.  The City encourages communication and cooperation with residents to help eliminate any problems or concerns.  The Zoning Officer’s goal is to ensure that all new buildings and structures in West Peoria meet the proper city requirements and regulations. Marge Maroon, Office Assistant Carol Stephens, City Clerk (elected position) The City Clerk keeps all records and reports as required by statute or ordinance.  The clerk keeps on file all bonds and oaths of city officials and personnel, is custodian of the city seal, and gives notice, attends, and keeps the proceedings of all meetings of the City Council.  The clerk registers voters and carries out all duties relating to municipal elections.  Freedom of Information Act inquiries and liquor licenses are also handled by the City Clerk. Diana Jarob, Bookkeeper Jennifer Main, City Treasurer (elected position)Responsibilities and duties include all activities related to the receipt and collection of revenue, the safekeeping and investment of revenue, and an accurate accounting for and the disbursement of revenue.
