Red Cross Blood Drive
An American Red Cross Blood Drive was conducted as part of this year’s West Peoria Jamboree at the Franciscan Recreation Center on Saturday, June 6.
All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. Either a blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old. Sixteen-year-olds, who weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health, are eligible with a signed Red Cross parental/guardian consent form.
