West Peoria Residents' Association

   Peoria County offers a prescription discount card to any person and his/her family whose prescription is not covered by insurance.  Sponsors of this program are the local county government and the National Association of Counties (NACo). 

   Discount cards, which are attached to fliers providing information about the program,

 are available at the Township Office located at the West Peoria City Hall.

   Facts about this program and the discount card:

• This plan is not insurance.
• The discount card can be used at all three drug stores in West Peoria.
• The card offers an average 20% savings on prescription drugs (not covered by insurance).  Savings may vary by drug.
• All that is needed is the card-no enrollment form, no membership fee.
• There are no restrictions and no limits as to how many times the card can be used.
• Higher discounts are available for select drugs.  The fliers provide information as to how to become eligible for these extra savings.
• Prescription claims through the program will not be eligible for reimbursement through a state Medicaid program.
