On Friday, September 5, the eighth annual Night Out Against Crime—sponsored by the West Peoria Neighborhood Watch, the city of West Peoria, and the Peoria County Sheriff’s Department—will be held at Franciscan Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This family event will feature activities for all age groups, including a canine demonstration, a Child I.D. Program, a bicycle rodeo, and a drawing for a bicycle. Entertainment will include music by the Eclectic Living Room Band and Flynn's Irish Dancers. There will be hot dogs, sno-cones, and more.
To avoid the extremely hot August weather, West Peoria has changed the date of our event to the September date. Thousands of other communities nationwide will celebrate the 25th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5.
Please plan to attend America's Night Out Against Crime and help send a message to criminals that the city of West Peoria is organized and fighting back.
