St. Mark's School Awards
St. Mark School has awarded the Knights of Columbus Citizenship Award to the following two students:
- Alexis Carballido, daughter of Jorge and Karyn Carballido of West Peoria
- Scott Simmons, son of Doug and Lori Simmons of Peoria
This award and a savings bond were given to these two St Mark’s graduates at the awards ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2008.
The Father Fitzgerald Endowment awards a full scholarship to Notre Dame High School to the top two girls and two boys of each graduating class of St. Mark Grade School. The recipients for the 2008 graduating class are:
- Hannah Dohm, daughter of LeRoy and Cindy Dohm of West Peoria
- Lauren Schaumburg, daughter of Scott and Anne Schaumburg of West Peoria
- Joe Hoerdeman, son of Jeff and Annette Hoerdeman of Peoria
- Danny Osmulski, son of Brian Osmulski of Peoria and Heather Osmulski of West Peoria
St. Mark’s also announced the following winners of the Mary Houston Scholarship:
- Mary Kate Tracy, daughter of Greg and Bonnie Tracy, Bartonville
- Scott Simmons, son of Doug and Lori Simmons, Peoria
