Jamboree Run
West Peoria’s twelfth annual four-mile Jamboree Run will be held on Saturday, June 6, starting at 7 a.m. For those who wish to participate but not to run, there will be a two-mile walk through a portion of West Peoria.
Prizes will be awarded to first place, second place, and third place winners for both male and female runners. The youngest and oldest runners will also receive a prize. In addition, there will be a male and a female winner for the first to finish in each of the following age brackets:
18 and under, 19-25, 35-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61 and over
This year’s theme is the “Luck of the Irish.” Anyone interested in submitting a design for this year’s logo for the t-shirts, please send a drawing to Beth Gilbert before April 20.
Racers should pick up registration forms at West Peoria City Hall after April 15. Forms will also be available at other locations to be announced later.
