Curbsite Trash Pickup
Beginning April 6, 2009, all trash pickup will be curbside (with the exception of a few that are inaccessible for curbside pickup). Trash pickup will no longer be in alleys. Residents affected by this change will be notified by Waste Management before April 6.
Now that spring is on its way, many residents will be cleaning up their yards. Landscape Waste Pickup begins on April 3 (always the first Friday in April). Pickup will be every Friday at the curb only. This service is included in residents’ Waste Management bill.
All residents are responsible for keeping their section of alleyways free of trash and to see that grass is mowed and that weeds are trimmed at all times. Residents are asked to be sure their section of alleyways are clear of branches, weeds, trash, etc. Also, be sure to clean up after pets because animal waste attracts rats and other rodents.
