Nora Leman
Nora Leman served as a World War II nurse, stationed in the Philippines. She is a charter member of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, which is located in Arlington National Cemetery and was dedicated in 1997 to honor all military women (past, president and future). Leman belongs to American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville and is very active in the VFW Post 814 in Peoria.
